Thomas Ragon is 47 years old. He studied politics and literature, studies he also spent as a bookstore worker on the side. He started in publishing as a trainee for Les Editiosn de la Sirène, Editions Delcourt, before Guy Delcourt hired him in 1996. He soon became editor for this company, where he worked with artists like Joann Sfar, Lewis Trondheim, Dominique Bertail, Thierry Smolderen, David Chauvel, etc. He always has been an editor of originally English-speaking books (‘Hellboy’, Dave McKean, Adrian Tomine, Chris Ware, Alan Moore,etc.). He joined Dargaud in 2005, where he works since then. He reads everything that comes under his eyes, from comics, of course, to novels, essays, philosophy. Drawing in all its shapes is, however, his greatest passion and faith.
